The leadership of the National Committee on Cybersecurity Awareness (NCCA) for the 2024-25 session has been formed. Technical expert Dr. Ejazul Haque convener and engineer Md. Mushfiqur Rahman has been nominated as the member secretary and a new committee of 11 members has been formed. Recently, the nomination board formed this committee.
Other members of the committee are Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Rashna Imam, Chief Technology Officer of Rahim Afroz Md. Anisur Rahman; Chief Executive of UY Systems, Farhana A. Rahman; Associate Professor of Software Engineering at Daffodil International University Dr. Maruf Hasan; Vice President of Internet Society Bangladesh Chapter Mohammad Kawsar Uddin; Country Manager of Sophos Technology Company Abul Hasnat Mohsin; Senior Lecturer of BRAC University School of Law Dr. Saimum Reza Talukder; Assistant Vice President of Jamuna Bank Technology Department Abul Hasan and Cyber Crime Awareness Foundation President Kazi Mustafiz.
This voluntary committee is basically working as a ‘think tank’ for ensuring the country’s cyber security. This committee will work on necessary initiatives through monitoring the incidents, formulating necessary recommendations, advocacy and public awareness to establish a promising safe cyber world and ensure national cyber security.
