YouTube is getting rich day by day with Islamic songs and ghazals. Channels like Hollytune, Kolorob, Haven Tune, SwapnaSinri, Tune Hut, Studio Vocal, Tarana are now hugely popular with millions of listeners. During the month of fasting, the visits of the channels increase several times. Songwriter Kazi Maruf’s 100th song ‘Prarthona‘, the prayers, is being released on Thursday which is at the peak of popularity on these channels. The song will be released in the evening in the voice of artist Tamim Adnan from the YouTube channel of ‘Tajdid Art Group’.
It may be noted that, the popular poet and lyricist Kazi Maruf is one of those who continue to make incredible contributions to Islamic literature and culture. Along with teaching and family life, he has been working regularly in this field.
For the past few years, he has been working on writing for the national dailies and composing Islamic music. He gained fame as a successful lyricist by writing several hit songs. Meanwhile, his writings include Ajab Taka, Ajab Dhaka, Amanush, Bazar Garam, Priyo Naam, Hridoy Majhe, Rahmer Chadar, Bangladesh Amar, Shahid Gazir Desh, Bangalete Gai Gaan, Amole Hao Raja, Salaam, Sera Bondhu, Bachelor, Vulay vora Jibon and many more.
His songs have been released by renowned bands like Kalorab, Haven Tune, SwapnaSinri, Tune Hut, Studio Vocal, Tarana on Blood Donation, Hamd, Naat, Ramadan, Eid, patriotic, motivational subject matters.
Especially ‘Ajab Taka’ written by Kazi Maruf and voiced by Kalorab Executive Director Muhammad Badruzzaman went viral on social media immediately after its release. Holy Tune has over 14 million views so far.
When asked about the feeling of publishing the 100th song, Kazi Maruf said, “With the grace of Almighty Allah, the number of songs written by me will cross 100 in a short time! It’s really a lot of fun. If a single song even draws people to the path of religion by teaching truth and beauty; Therein lies my worth.” Around fifty more songs are waiting to be released including Prarthona. They will be released continuously and will win the hearts of the audience, hoped the popular lyricist.
