After being elected from Cumilla-1 constituency in the 12th National Assembly elections, the IEB President Engineer Abdus Sabur who won with the electoral symbol boat, was greeted with flowers at his workplace IEB. After coming to the campus of Engineers Institution Bangladesh (IEB), the oldest professional institution of the country located in Ramna of the capital on Wednesday, on behalf of the engineering community, from the central and regional councils of IEB welcomed MP Sabur with a bouquet of flowers.
At that time, the Chief Engineer of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Md. Ali Akhtar Hossain, IEB Dhaka Center Chairman Engineer Mohammad Hossain, General Secretary Manjurul Haque Monju, Bangabandhu Engineering Council leaders and workers, LGED, Narayanganj leaders handed over bouquets one by one.
IEB turned into a flowery fair with bouquets, garlands and banners by engineers of various levels. Meanwhile, former GS of BUET students’ union expressed gratitude to all for the love of engineers. After that, Bangladesh Awami League’s Science and Technology Affairs Secretary Abdus Sabur said, our engineers will be in the front row in building a smart golden Bangladesh.
