Bangladesh has achieved unprecedented success in road communication and has essentially revolutionized the communication sector, which has had a positive impact on the entire economy. Also, the government has taken multi-dimensional innovative steps to reduce road accidents and streamline traffic. But if citizens and motorists do not obey the rules of the road, these gains will not be fully reaped.”
Manindra Kishore Majumdar, Joint Secretary of Road Transport and Highways Department, expressed this opinion in a session titled ‘Development of Bangladesh in Road Communication’ at the National Museum of Science and Technology on Tuesday.
While presenting the main article, he highlighted the success of road communication since 2009 and said that 38,000 km road communication network has been operational so far.
