Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN) and Scratch Bangladesh have jointly organized a programming workshop to teach scratch programming to elementary students. Students aged 8 to 15 can participate in this 6-day workshop starting on August 28. BDOSN informed this information in a press release on Thursday.
According to the press release, the Scratch program invented by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States is basically a picture and design-based programming language, which can be used to learn how to program very easily. As a result, children can create various software including games, animation videos, cartoons or software used in calculators through scratch programming.
The scratch programming workshop will be conducted by Mosharf Hossain, the author of the book ‘Chotder Scratch Programming’. The workshop registration process has already started. Students can click on this address to register as well as get detailed information about the workshop.
