ICT State Minister conveyed 5 good news to the people of Gopalganj in 1 day alone
On behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak gave ‘5 good news’ to the people of Gopalganj on Friday. According to the news conveyed by him, a ‘Knowledge Park’ for research and innovation will be established at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (BSMUST) established at Kotalipara in the district. Sheikh Fazlul Karim, the local Member of Parliament, will inaugurate the foundation stone of the Research Innovation and Hi-Tech Park on March 16.
Two inventors received a grant of 10 lakh Taka
The ICT State Minister gave this information while inspecting the proposed land for setting up Gopalganj Hi-Tech Park in the afternoon. In addition to the local leaders, Hi-Tech Park Authority Managing Director Mohammad Rezaul Karim and BSMUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AQM Mahbub were present.
During the visit, Palak announced a research grant of Tk. 10 lakh to the two young inventors, Johnny and Sabbir, to bring the two prototypes of the aircraft to reality after five years of tireless efforts. Meanwhile, the inventors were overwhelmed and greeted the state minister by touching his feet.
The state minister expressed optimism that these two inventors may make airplanes like Air Boeing in Bangladesh. He said, in the coming year 2041, in the smart Bangladesh aviation industry of the Prime Minister, our johnny-sabbirs will make airplane manufacturing companies like Boeing Airbus in the soil of this Bangladesh.
It is to be noted that, the birthplace of the greatest Bengali- father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the daughter of Bangabandhu, the visionary of digital Bangladesh, the architect of modern Bangladesh, the beloved leader, the birthplace of the Honorable Prime Minister, People’s Leader Sheikh Hasina, for the young women of Gopalganj. The government will also set up a Joy Digital Service and Employment Training Centers at Tungipara and Kotalipara for young women. Besides, Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center will be established at Kashiani in Gopalganj. Similarly, state-of-the-art Smart Education Training and Entertainment Center Cineplex and a data center will be set up at Gopalganj headquarters, said ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak.
Earlier in the morning, after reaching Gopalganj and laying wreaths at the tomb of the Father of the Nation, the State Minister for ICT paid deep respect to the memory of the great architect of independence, stood in silence for a while and recited the Fateha.
