This was what the state minister opined while speaking as the chief guest on the concluding day of ‘Singra ICT Freelancing Camp and Job Festival-2023’ at Gol e Afroz Government Honors College, Singra, Natre on Saturday. He said that there are 85 thousand students in 345 educational institutions in Singra, which is more than the students of Maldives. Therefore, the local parliamentarian called upon the participants of the fair to come forward to implement the “Golden Bangla” of Bangabandhu’s dream and the “Smart Bangladesh” vision of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina by utilizing the government’s ‘training, technology and capital’.
Honorable Prime Minister has already announced to build Smart Bangladesh by 2041. The youth of the country can play a leading role in the implementation of this declaration. That is why everyone should be educated in technology education. Make yourself skilled and opt for technology-based employment. ICT Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy has created employment for 2 million young women in the ICT sector in the last 14 years by utilizing the talent of youth and the power of technology. The government has set a target to increase IT employment to 3 million by 2025. For that purpose educated youth are being encouraged to take up IT profession including freelancing. Taka10 lakh grant has been given to 382 startups from the iDEA Project of the ICT Division. We will create 25 thousand women entrepreneurs in 43 districts of the country through Her Project.

27 organizations including Coder Trust, Knockrek IT, BFDS, Chaldal.com participated in Job Festival-2023. These institutions received 3641 job applications and resumes. 1300 people were interviewed after checking their resumes and more than 100 were given initial appointment letters.
