The Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) held a special general meeting (EGM) on Saturday to amend the memorandum and Articles of Association. The general members present discussed the amendment from their respective positions and expressed their own opinion while the President of ISPAB Md. Imdadul Haque presided over the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, the chief executive of the association Enamul Haque delivered a welcome speech. After that, the General Secretary Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan explained in detail on the process of amendment, extension and revision of the Association Memorandum and Rules. At the end of the speech, the members of the executive committee present their opinion on this matter. At one point, the ordinary members also joined the discussion.
Based on the opinions of all those present in the meeting, it was decided to form a technical expert committee consisting of the President and General Secretary of the old executive committee of the association and the current executive councilors for the amendment of the association memorandum and association rules. The present Executive Committee (EC) is given the responsibility to accept the opinion of the formed Technical Expert Committee and follow the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the relevant Ministry of Commerce, DTO, BTRC and any other like-minded association.
All the members present in the meeting agreed on that point.
