With the aim of implementing Smart Bangladesh, 880 Close Circuit cameras have been installed in Shibchar Upazila of Madaripur district to ensure flawless security on the occasion of the launch of ‘Smart Shibchar’ program. Besides, ‘FR Khan Entrepreneurship Conference’ and ‘Job Fair’ was held at Chowdhury Fatema Begum Municipal Auditorium. The Sheikh Hasina Institute of Frontier Technology and Software Technology Park is also being constructed at Qutubpur of Shibchar Upazila at a cost of Tk. 1500 crore on 70 acres of land. It is possible to reach the smart Bangladesh of the future through this institution. This is the first institute of its kind in the country which is being established in Shibchar. Shibchar is going to be the role model of other upazilas.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s private investment adviser Salman F Rahman opined so while speaking at the closing ceremony of a ‘Job fair’ held at Shibchar of Madaripur r on Tuesday (January 31).
He also said that the country’s big entrepreneurs will be requested to invest in this area located by the river Padma as a smart economic zone as Madaripur’s Shivchar is beautiful and smart. This will play a major role in the country’s economy.
At this time, the Chief Whip of Jatiya Sangsad Noor-e Alam Chowdhury, State Minister of Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Deputy Commissioner of Madaripur Dr. Rahima Khatun, Superintendent of Police.
