NASA’s Artemis 1 Orion spacecraft returned to Earth early last month after a long journey of 1.4 million miles. Finally the vehicle was brought back to the Kennedy Space Center. News Engadget.
NASA informed that The Orion capsule arrived at the Kennedy Space Center on December 30. Before that, it was lowered into the Pacific Ocean on December 11.
Artemis 1’s record-setting journey to the moon began on November 16. NASA’s next-generation Space Launch System launches it into space using heavy rockets.
NASA will first remove the spacecraft’s heat shield at Kennedy Space Center. Then the research will start on it.
