The ‘Digital Innovation Fair’ has started from Monday at the Gymnasium adjacent to the MA Aziz Stadium in the port city of Chattogram. Chattogram Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman inaugurated this two-day fair in the morning by flying balloons and cutting the red ribbon. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Abu Raihan Dolan and senior officials of various departments of the government were present.
Four private institutions along with 22 government departments participated in the fair. Arrangements have been made to provide various services to the citizens directly from the fair stalls.
Driving license from fair, passport application, social security program inclusion application, online GD, e-mutation, birth-death registration, Covid vaccination card correction, City Corporation holding tax payment, trade license application and renewal, all services of Union Digital Center directly Payment is available.
The Chattogram District Administration Office said that 5,000 people will be given driving licenses from BRTA stalls in the fair. After the inauguration of the fair, the Deputy Commissioner and other officials visited the various stalls of the fair. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman said to the journalists present. ‘This fair is organized for all the public or private institutions of Chattogram who have taken innovative initiatives and provide citizen services through online platforms. The country has gone digital under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister. Now our dream is Smart Bangladesh. That’s why all the government departments should come forward with service mentality.’
