The country’s largest Mobile App Hackathon Robi-BD Apps National Hackathon Roadshow was recently held at City University Permanent Campus Auditorium. It presented the process of conceptualizing and presenting prototypes/MVPs or full products of mobile app based platforms and innovative app development services to over 100 young innovators. Interested participants can register their teams till next Sunday (August 7) and submit their ideas through the online form.
In this road show held on last Tuesday, Prof. Engineer Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering was present as the Chief Guest while Md. Safayet Hossain, Chief Engineer of Computer Science and Engineering department was present as the special guest.
BD Apps Head of Business and Engagement Muhammad Altamish Nabil and Sujaur Rahman Imon of the same department were the speakers in the event. They explained the details of the hackathon as well as informed the participants about the tools of this platform.
By participating in this competition, young innovators can win a total prize of BDT 5 lakh. Hackathon participants can participate in this competition by forming teams of 2-4 people. Through this, they can present their app ideas in front of industry experts. The winning teams will receive financial support, practical guidance and the necessary tools to spread their app nationally and internationally.
