Election of 2022-24 bi-annual executive committee of e-commerce association of Bangladesh e-Cab is going to be held on 18th June. The activities of candidate nomination collection have started from May 11 ahead of the election. This activity will continue till 2 pm on 18th May. The final list of candidates will be announced in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, 19 candidates have collected nominations for 9 posts till Thursday to contest the elections. A section of the nominees announced the names of their panels on Saturday, May 14th.
Calling for positive change in the e-commerce industry, they started their campaign through paying homage to the portrait of the architect of independence- Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi on Friday, May 13.
In this regard, Changemakers team leader Wasim Alim said, “We have started the election activities of our team by paying deep homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. We have a plan to exchange views with e-Cab members scattered all over Bangladesh in phases. In the future, we want to implement the various recommendations that will come out of these exchange meetings for the welfare of the members.”
The panel coordinator Biplob G Rahul said in a press release that The Change Makers team started the official election campaign with a pledge to work side by side with the general members for their overall development by paying deep homage to that great leader Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
According to the press release sent by him, among the nominees are Zia Ashraf (Chaldal), Wasim Alim (BanglaMeds), Fatima Begum (Adi BD), Morin Hossain Talukder (Silver Water Technology), Md. Tashdikh Habib (Clean Force), Jisan Kingshook Haque (RTS Enterprise), AM Ishtiaq Sarwar (Software Innovation), Abu Sufian Nilov (Nizal Creative) and he himself participated in the election on behalf of this panel. However, according to the rules, the vote in the e-Cab election will not be held as a panel rather at the individual level. As a result, there is no special symbol for a panel as usual.
