A day-long workshop on implementation of Bangladesh National Digital Architecture (BNDA) was held in the conference room of Bangladesh Computer Council building. At the beginning of the workshop under the BGD e-Gov CIRT project under the Information Technology and Communication Department, the need and importance of BNDA in building a sustainable digital Bangladesh was highlighted by the Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan.
The workshop was attended by senior officials of the Cabinet Division, Information and Communication Technology Department, Bangladesh Computer Council and representatives from various software companies.
At the seminar (April 12), the BNDA team presented the overall activities of their respective fields. These included what National Enterprise Architecture is, why it is needed, and how it works; Benefits, Bangladesh National Digital Architecture key, components, e-service bus and its use, ICT roadmap, how ministries can use it, BNDA standards, BNDA guidelines – role / purpose, executive committee and its functions, technical committee and Its functions, responsibilities of the ministry, examples of shared services / platforms, BNDA digital services, secure coding standards, what is identity platform, and why identity is required etc.
BGD e-Gov CIRT, Project Director Tareq M Barkatullah, Tanimul Bari, Senior Technical Specialist (Software and E-Services) of Bangladesh Computer Council and Senior Technical Specialist (Infrastructure) of BNDA Team answered various important questions from the audience.
Additional Secretary Ranjit Kumar was present at the workshop as the special guest.
