In order to develop a well-organized startup culture in Bangladesh and to prioritize the various challenges, failures and causes of failure of entrepreneurs under the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) of the Department of Information and Communication Technology, the “Establishment of Innovation and Entrepreneur Development Academy (iDEA) Project” has started working. Research on startups will provide important information on the success or failure of startups, which will play a key role in the development of startups in the future.
In light of this, a workshop was held at the iDEA Project office on Tuesday (April 12) in the presence of NM Zeaul Alam PAA, Senior Secretary, Department of Information and Communication Technology, to formulate a research policy for the Idea project. Md. Abdul Mannan, PAA, Executive Director (Grade-1) BCC joined the event at the time. Besides, among others, iDEA Project Director and Joint Secretary Md. Altaf Hossain, Deputy Project Director and Deputy Secretary Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman including Consultants and officials of iDEA Project took part in this workshop.
iDEA Project has been working since 2016 under the direct guidance and supervision of the State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak to create an innovative ecosystem and entrepreneurial culture under the ICT department. iDEA is taking various initiatives to increase the capacity of young innovators as well as to spread the idea of innovation among the marginalized youth. At the same time, the ‘iDEA’ project is working tirelessly to build an advanced and appropriate startup culture for startups.
