Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, cyber attacks and Internet services in several parts of Ukraine have been shut down. In this context, Starlink chief Elon Musk stood by Ukraine, promising to keep the internet service running via satellite.
Starlink will do everything possible in its part to keep satellite services running in Ukraine, the tweet said, to help Ukraine active in the cyber world. And all the steps have already been taken for that.
“Starlink service has been launched in Ukraine,” Musk wrote in a tweet. Many terminals are being enrolled.” Although Elon Musk himself did not tweet this.
Originally, a tweet was sent on February 26 by the Ukrainian government directly tagging Elon Musk. It said the Internet service needs to be launched by creating a Starlink station for Ukrainians.
Russia has been carrying out a series of technical attacks one after another since the day of the invasion of Ukraine. As seen in the pictures published by various international news agencies, various infrastructures including mobile towers have been completely destroyed. As a result, residents in rural Ukraine are unable to communicate. Even in many parts of Ukraine, internet services with fiber optics have not been launched, so no pictures of those areas are coming to the fore.
That is why Starlink was requested to keep the satellite running very fast. The Starlink service was then activated in Ukraine in this regard.
