Voters will select their preferred candidate in a secret ballot at the Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation in the capital’s Gulshan area on Sunday (December 26th). Only time will say what is going to be the ‘shoot’ in the shooting club at the end of all dramas.
However, after overcoming all obstacles, the other two members Rafiqul Islam Rauli and Khandaker Atiq A Rabbani have already completed all the preparations for the polls under the leadership of Election Commission Chairman SM Kamal. Since there have been so many complications and obstacles in this election, the members of the BASIS Secretariat are spending time in a kind of nervousness till the announcement of the results.
Speaking to Digibangla, BASIS Secretary Hashim Ahmed said before writing this report, “We have had to go through many ups and downs with the election this time.” Counter-allegations have been filed in the Court. So, we’re under a lot of pressure until the vote is over. But in the meantime, we have brought all the preparations of the polling station to the final stage. Hopefully, the voting will be held on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm in a festive atmosphere.
