Meta-owned Instagram has added ‘text-to-speech’ and ‘voice effects’ features to their platform to overtake TikTok.
Technology site ‘9to5 Mac’ reports that from now on, when editing ‘Reels’, the creator will be able to use artificial voice without having to voice himself in the video by using the ‘Text-to-Speech’ feature.
On the other hand, content creators can use different voices in the same video through the ‘Voice Effects’ feature.
Users of iOS and Android devices will get the benefit of two new features. But before that, it has to be confirmed whether the user is using the latest version of Instagram or not.
With this, Instagram said in its own post, “Attention reels maker! As we know, one of the funniest aspects of building a new reel is the use of words and sounds. So today we are launching two new audio tools called Voice Effects and Text-to-Speech.”
The company added, “This feature is available in the text tool of our reels camera. The text-to-speech feature will help you to describe anything without using your voice, to be more creative, to add more humor.”
