The customers have demanded a refund of their due money from e-commerce company Qcoom and organized a human-chain in this connection.
On October 13, in front of the National Press Club, the human chain program was organized under the banner of Qcoom Customers Association.
From the human-chain, Qcoom customers also raised 4point demands. The demands are- 1. To allow Foster to return the customer’s money to Bangladesh Bank keeping an eye on them 2. Return the money withheld by the customers of escrow system in Foster within 7 days 3. Foster system automation. 4. Allow Qcoom to conduct business through legal framework.
The speaker in the human chain complained that the Qcoom has so far dealt with crores of taka of the customers in front of the eyes of the government. But the government could not control it. Why should they have to pay compensation for that.
It is learned that e-Cab has a meeting with the Ministry of Commerce on October 14. Qcom’s customers want to address the issue there.
