In the last month of the last financial year, the Department of Information and Communication Technology has improved the implementation of the annual development program by 87.93 percent on the basis of allocation and 99.69 percent on the receipt of funds.
An account of this progress was presented at the department’s regular review meeting on Wednesday, citing the IMED Tracker of the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Department (IMED).
According to the report, a meeting between the Planning Department, IMED and the Information and Communication Technology Department on July 25 to prepare IMED’s ADP tracker is currently under technical analysis. Preparations will be completed by August 13.
Apart from ICT Secretary NM Zeaul Alam, Director General of the Department of Information Technology A B M Arshad Hossain and other concerned project officers were also present.
It was informed in the meeting that out of the total 2 lakh 36 thousand 793 crore 9 lakh taka, the ICT department took initiative to implement 27 projects at a cost of Tk 1307.52 crore taka of ADP allocation. Of these, 23 are investment projects, 3 are technical projects and one is from a social development fund.
