The Department of Information and Communication Technology has reviewed the implementation of the Annual Development Program (ADP) till June 30, 2020-21. It was informed at the meeting that the financial progress on the basis of allocation of the agencies and projects under the ICT department till June 30, 2021, is about 88 percent and the progress on the basis of release of funds is 98.49 percent.
State Minister for ICT, Zunaid Ahmed Palak was connected through ‘Boithok’ on the occasion.
Achieving the monthly and realistic financial targets of the following projects was discussed in the meeting. The Projects are the Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Program, Learning and earning Development Project (2nd Amendment), Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Hi-Tech Park Rajshahi (1st Amendment) Project, Kaliakair Hi-Tech-Park and other high-tech park development (3rd Amendment) projects.
Apart from that, implementing decisions and recruitment of manpower were also discussed in the meeting.
The heads of the agencies and the project managers presented the implementation plans and the latest progress of their respective projects at the meeting.
The State Minister directed the concerned persons including the project director to ensure 100% financial progress of the ongoing projects while maintaining quality as per the work plan and to complete the work on time. The project managers promised to complete the work of the projects within the stipulated time.
It may be mentioned that in the last financial year, RADP had allocated Taka 695.10 crore for a total of 29 projects including technical projects under the ICT department.
It was also informed in the meeting that Taka 1721 crore has been allocated in the current 2021-22 financial year,
