The national episode of the National High School Programming Contest NHSPC 2021 ended with the participation of little programmers from all districts of the country under the slogan ‘Januk Sabai Dekhao Tumi‘ (Let everybody witness your talent). Today (Friday), Munir Hasan, General secretary, BDOSN declared the names of the winners of NHSPC 2021 in the presence of Zunaid Ahmed Palak, the state minister for ICT.
Champion Devajyoti Das Soumya (Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College, Sylhet) has won in the junior category of the NHSPC 2021 programming contest. The First Runner-up – Kazi Nadid Hossain (Khulna Zila School, Khulna) and the Second Runner-up Shreyas Labib Orion (SFX Greenherald International School, Dhaka).
The winners in the senior category were the champion Zarif Rahman (Rajshahi University School, Rajshahi). The First runner-up Mamnoon Siam (Chittagong College, Chittagong) and the second runner-up M. Nafis ul Haq Sifat (Hasan Ali Government High School, Chittagong).
Champion Mahir Tajwar (St. Joseph’s High School, Dhaka) also won in the junior category of the quiz competition. First runner up Nitish Sarkar Som (Louhjong Model Pilot High School, Munshiganj) and second runner up Samira Tasnim (Government Iqbalnagar Secondary Girls School, Khulna).
Champion Nahyan Yazdan Rahman (Sunbeams, Dhaka) won in the senior category. First runner up Dhruv Mandal (Barisal Zila School, Barisal) and second runner up Shreya Chakraborty (Muminunnisa Sarkar Mahila College, Mymensingh).
Prof. Zafar Iqbal, Prof. Mohammad Kaikobad, Director of Bangladesh Computer Council Enamul Kabir and others were present at the award-giving ceremony presided over by Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council Parthapratim Deb.
According to the program, the winners of the two categories of programming will be given laptops and the best three of the two categories of quiz will be given smartphones.
