The Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) is going to work with the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) to verify the quality of the software.
This information was given by BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir at a program titled “Role of Software Industry in Corona Crisis” organized by the Bangladesh IT Professional Friends Club on May 2.
The BASIS president said that BASIS is thinking about introducing a rating system for software member organizations in the future. At the same time, this organization of the software industry of Bangladesh is going to work with BCC for a software testing lab.
The country’s ICT industry has advanced. Iqbal Ahmed Fakhrul Hasan, managing director of Divine IT Limited, suggested looking at domestic software instead of external software even if the country has its own capabilities. According to him, the country’s entrepreneurs will move forward if they look at the local software.
Mir Monwarul Iqbal, Chief Executive Officer of Pridesis IT Limited also spoke on the occasion. The program was planned and hosted by Saleh Mobin.
