Grameenphone honored Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network (NTTN) partners for strengthening their fiberization journey and future for building the largest and number one network in the country.
On Thursday, Head of External Communication Ankit Sureka informed that, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Grameenphone Yasir Azman handed over the crest to six NTTN partners at the recently held ‘NTTN Partner award’ with telecom industry related organizations and stakeholders. The NTTNs are: Bangladesh Railways, Bangladesh Telecommunication Company Limited (BTCL), Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB), Summit Communications, Fiber @ Home, and Bahan Limited.
Bangladesh Railway Divisional Signal and Telecommunication Engineer (Telecom) Rubayat Sharif; BTCL Deputy Managing Director (SO) Sanjeev Kumar Ghatak, Deputy General Manager Shahinur Rahman; Summit Communications Limited Chief Technology Officer (CTO) KM Tarikuzzaman, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Sharmin Zaman, Chief Network Architect (CNA), Md Farooq Imtiaz; Chief Marketing Officer Rajib Ahmed Sultan, Chief Technology Officer Sumon Ahmed Sabir of Fiber@Home Limited; Bahan Limited Managing Director Syed Samiul Haque, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Farid Mohammad Rashed Amin and Grameenphone Head of Network Services Abul Kasem Mohiuddin Al-Amin, Head of Central Operations Ashfaqur Rashid, Head of Communications Sharfuddin Ahmed Chowdhury and others were present.

In 2022, Grameenphone achieved the milestone of 40 percent fiberization coverage of its entire network. Achieving this milestone is possible only through fruitful partnership and collaboration with NTTN partners.
