Whether it is a two-wheeler or a four-wheeler, these days, buyers place more importance on safety features. Cars are safer than two-wheelers as they are enclosed all around. In the case of bikes, different riding gear is required to keep the rider or driver safe.
Which includes helmet, riding gloves, riding jacket, riding pants and riding boots. Although primarily famous as a motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield is equally popular for accessories. The company has brought a new summer riding jacket to the Indian market. Which is the third edition of their Streetwind series. The Streetwind V3 riding jacket has a mesh design and is very light.
A riding jacket suitable for riding a motorcycle has protective shields attached at various places. Royal Enfield’s new jacket features Ergo Pro Tech Armor safety. It is actually level-two armor i.e. the second level of protection. They are attached to the shoulders and elbows. The driver’s side also has safety hinges and reflectors, which will help to see from a distance at night.
The back of the jacket also features Ergo Pro Tech’s Level Two armor. This riding jacket is made with Cardura fabric and mesh design is noticed in most places. The jacket weighs only 1.17 kg and can be folded into a laptop bag.
The jacket is made of 90% abrasion resistant materials to avoid wear and tear due to friction. The remaining 10% consists of 600D polyester. Tightening straps are used at different places on the arms and around the waist to keep it properly attached to your body. There are also two zippered pockets for added practicality. In this work Royal Enfield has used YKK zipper, which is one of the best in this segment.
The jacket also has sunglass loops, Velcro-patches, pre-curved arms and snap fasteners at the neck.
