Asia Cup Cricket 2023 is progressing with great enthusiasm, excitement and tension. The fight for the superiority of the Asian continent started on August 30 with the participation of 6 teams. The Super Four phase of the tournament is currently underway where four teams from two groups – Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan – have advanced to the finals. The final of the competition will be held on September 17.
Global tech brand Dell and tech magazine Computer Jagat have organized a 3-episode online quiz ahead of the event. A total of 2254 people participated in the first phase of the competition out of which 43 people were able to answer each (4) questions correctly. Later, the following 12 people were selected as winners through lottery from among them. The winners are: Al Amin (Dhaka), Md Zahid Hossain (Dhaka), Sadat (Dhaka), Rabia Munni (Chattogram), Md Badrul Hasan (Jashore), Asma Khatun (Jashore), Md Al-Amin Hossain (Chuadanga), Muhammad Tuhin (Chuadanga), Mohammad Badrul Hasan, Ekram Hossain, Md Masud Rana and Shamima Sultana.
The 12 winners of the first phase will be given a mobile top-up of Tk. 500 each for a total of Tk. 6,000. However, the condition here is that the 12 winners will have to send a 1 minute video message recorded on a mobile phone in which they express their identity and feelings of participating and winning the online quiz. The Computer Jagat Authority will pay the winners after receiving the video.
Computer Jagat Executive Secretary Md. Abdul Haque Anu said that Computer Jagat will have full rights to share the video messages sent by the winners on YouTube and other social media platforms. 30 attractive prizes worth 25 thousand taka will be awarded in the online quiz competition. Out of this, 12 winners in the first phase will be awarded a total of 6,000 taka, 16 winners in the second phase will be awarded a total of 8,000 taka and 2 winners (champion and runner-up) in the third phase will be awarded a total of 11,000 taka.
The 2nd phase of the online quiz competition started on 6th September and will continue till 2pm (Bangladesh time) on 14th September. The third and final phase of this three-phase quiz competition will be held from September 15 to 17.
