Extensive mobile science education has been organized in various schools, colleges and educational institutions of the country under the initiative of the National Museum of Science and Technology. In the light of this program, the science education program of science museum was conducted in Dhaka Cantonment Girls Public School and College on August 31 in the presence of about 4 (four) thousand students. 4 museum buses of the organization with modern scientific equipment participated in it.
Earlier, around 8 (eight) thousand students attended the mobile science education programs and telescope exhibitions. On August 3, Morning Glory School and College and Sena Public School and College; and on August 4 and 5, Bogra Pundra University of Science and Technology; on August 6, Savar Cantonment Public School and College; on August 27, Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center; on August 30, Shere Bangla Nagar Government Girls High School enjoyed the programs.
In this context, Director General of National Museum of Science and Technology Mohammad Munir Chowdhury said, “This science education program is gaining great popularity across the country. Along with cultural knowledge, science museum staff are making science educational and engagingly enjoyable for students, which is creating a continuing interest in science education among the younger generation. Many educational institutions from all over the country are getting involved in this mobile program of the museum. Recently about 8 (eight) thousand students participated in this program. In the future, the museum authorities will expand this program to increase the popularity of science.”
