Engineer Sheikh Tajul Islam Tuhin, Assistant General Secretary (Service and Welfare) of the National Professional Institute of Engineers Institution, Bangladesh (IEB) has obtained an MSc degree in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Salford located in Manchester, England. He is currently working as Executive Engineer of LGED, Narayanganj.
Note that University of Salford’s MSc in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management degree is recognized by The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) in England.
According to the press release issued by the institution on Friday, Engineer Sheikh Tajul Islam Tuhin attended the convocation of the university held in Manchester City, England on July 19, 2023. The convocation was attended by the chancellor of the university, Lucy Meacock.
Due to the employment of engineer Tuhin’s father Sheikh Rokon Uddin, he completed his secondary education from Shahjibazar, Bheramara and Siddhirganj PDB High School and enrolled in Dhaka College and later completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET). He pursued higher studies with constant encouragement from his mother, Zainab Begum. He is currently in charge of AGS (Service and Welfare) after successfully serving as Secretary, Civil Engineering Division and AGS (Admin-Finance) in IEB.
