Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General of National Museum of Science and Technology-NMST urged the young students to get rid of mobile addiction and complete their study life with profound attention and engage themselves in the work of nation building.
The DG of NMST called the visiting students of Dhaka Residential Model School and College-DRMC On Tuesday, July 18, 2023 while addressing about 300 (three hundred) students of DRMC.
Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General of National Science and Technology Museum said, “Ethical life should be built along with the practice of knowledge. You should develop yourself as an ideal citizen by refraining from lying, doing injustice and harming others. Wake up early in the morning and engage in studies to become a scientist, engineer and doctor to lead the country. Respect parents and teachers. Continuous use of mobile phone causes irreparable damage to eyes and brain. So avoid mobile addiction.“
In the event, 3 quiz competitions were organized with the students. Among them, 9 students were declared winners and given commemorative gifts by the science museum. The winning students in the quiz competition were Hasan Mashhoor Tabib, Md Rifat, Syed Sabit, Fahim Ahmed, Nabeel Hossain, Fahim Aziz, Saqib Bin Rafiq, Abheek Ranjan and Shadman Taqi.
Officials of Science Museum and teachers of Residential Model School and College were present on the occasion.
