The ICT state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak celebrated the Eid-ul-Adha at his constituency, Singra in Natore district.
On the eve of Eid, the state minister for ICT inaugurated the planting and distribution program of 1 lakh saplings on the initiative of his elder son Apoorba Zunaid at Shanti Nibas and Hi-tech Park areas of Singra Municipal area. He informed that his son voluntarily took this initiative with his own savings of 10,000 taka. Genuine friends want to fight global warming by planting trees to build an oxygen reservoir in areas where the next generation will live a healthy life in clean air.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak distributed rations and cash financial assistance for the rehabilitation of families affected by natural disasters and fire in Singra Upazila and for the renovation of houses. He visited the under construction projects like the four (4) lane road, Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center and Technical Training Center with two sons and wife; exchanged views with the party leaders and workers of 12 unions. He expressed his conviction that Singra Upazila will be developed as a humane smart Singra.
With the prayers of his mother, he rushed to the Raninagar Eidgah of local No. 8 Sherkol Union along with his two sons after saying Eid prayers and exchanging good wishes. Then he went to visit the grave of his father late Faiz Uddin Ahmed who passed away back 25 years. The State Minister Palak requested everyone to pray for the departed soul.
“My father passed away 25 years ago. I request you all to pray to everyone so that Allah Almighty may grant him Jannatul Ferdous. Amen.”
On the occasion of the death anniversary, a Quran Khatam and prayer program was organized with the participation of teachers and students of various Madrasahs of Singra Upazila.
