Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to unveil its much-anticipated Xiaomi 14 series smartphones in China. Which will come in the market this November. They will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which may debut in October this year.
According to another new source, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro phones will also have periscope zoom cameras.
Which will help capture better scenes by zooming in on distant objects without compromising image quality.
According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Periscope telephoto camera on the Xiaomi 14 Pro will offer an impressive 5x optical zoom with a focal length of 115mm. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 will have a periscope telephoto camera with 3.9x optical zoom and a shorter 90mm focal length.
An earlier report claimed that, like the Xiaomi 13 Pro, its successor will have three 50-megapixel cameras on the back – a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel zoom camera. However, no information about the camera setup of the standard Xiaomi 14 has surfaced yet. The news is that the front-facing camera of the Xiaomi 14 Pro will support 4K video recording and can be used to take high-quality selfies and make video calls.
Also, there are currently speculations about the display options of the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The phone is said to come with a flat and a curved-edge display. Both the models are expected to have a 5,000 mAh battery. In terms of charging, the Xiaomi 14 model will support up to 90W fast charging and the Pro variant can offer a faster 120W charging speed. However, the charging capacity will differ according to the display variant.
