Several Russian radio stations have been hacked to broadcast fake speeches by the country’s president, Vladimir Putin. Putin’s fake speech was followed by the invasion of Kiev’s troops and declaration of emergency in three regions bordering Ukraine.
The Kremlin reported the information on Monday (June 5). The hacking of the Russian radio station took place amid multiple infiltration attempts and heavy shelling by the troops of the two countries in southwest Belgorod.
Meanwhile, Kiev said it had begun preparations for a long-awaited counteroffensive. The speech circulated in the name of Putin is spreading widely on social media.
According to the fake speech circulated, armed Ukrainian troops attacked Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions with the consent and support of NATO and Washington. The announcement was made with an exact imitation of Putin’s voice.
According to the announcement, martial law has been imposed in the three regions, troops have been mobilized and civilians have been ordered to evacuate.
