Integrated application of theoretical and practical knowledge is required for one’s professional development. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department of the Daffodil International University has been regularly organizing specialized practical programs in this connection.
As a part of this, the Bachelor of Entrepreneurship program is being run under this department to develop skilled entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
On Wednesday (May 17), students of the department went on a corporate visit to the Grameenphone’s head office.
The corporate visit was conducted under the leadership of Mohammad Kamruzzaman Didar, Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department.
He said, hands-on education is an important goal to develop the students of our department as entrepreneurs or business leaders. As a part of practical education, the department has been arranging industrial and corporate visits to various commercial establishments to help students’ careers. The visit is organized as a part of the course curriculum to complete the education or knowledge of the students about the internal workings and operations of an organization.
Students participated in two sessions while visiting the Grameen House. First of all, Yasir Azman, Chief Executive Officer of the company conducted a session with the students. Later, Grameenphone Chief Marketing Officer Farha Naz Zaman conducted a session organized by Grameenphone Academy to give students a detailed idea about how to build their company’s brand in the future.
