With the aim of turning the talented freelancers scattered in different parts of the country into potential entrepreneurs through appropriate training, Bangladesh Association of Contact Centers and Outsourcing (BACCO) in collaboration with the ‘Business Promotion Council (BPC)’ managed under the Ministry of Commerce, Bangladesh’s National Trade Organization of BPO/Outsourcing Industry has taken the initiative to train a total of 90 freelancers in six batches. Inspired by the success of last year’s training, this year also for the second time, this training program will be conducted in six batches starting from March 13.
As the opening phase of the program, an ‘orientation’ ceremony of the “Freelancer to Entrepreneur” program was held on Saturday (March 11) at a conference hall in Banani of the capital.
Speaking as the chief guest at the event, BACCO President Waheed Sharif said the freelancers, “This program is for the training of freelancers like you. And even if you get into the workplace after the training, you will get BACCO’s support at all stages, I guarantee it.”
The Special guest Md. Faisal Khan, Assistant Executive Officer of Business Promotion Council said, “There is no alternative to organize such a training and platform; not only for education, but also for being introduced and getting connected among freelancers.”
Vice President Tanveer Ibrahim and General Secretary Touhid Hossain spoke on behalf of the BACCO Executive Committee as a special guests.
Faisal Mustafa, CEO of ‘Vizer X Limited’ and Chairman of ‘ BACCO Online Professionals’ Forum’ and Mohsina Munna, Founder of ‘D Tempet Limited’ also spoke.
Md. Salim Sarkar, Executive Coordinator of BACCO Secretariat briefed the freelancers present about the details of BACCO and negotiation training program.The BACCO Director Musnad E Ahmed addressed the closing speech.
