Bangladesh and Uzbekistan have reached an agreement on the development of BPO industry in their respective countries on the basis of mutual cooperation in the ongoing WICT conference. On the basis of this agreement, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the representatives of the two countries at the Hall of Fame of Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Friday.
The agreement was signed in the presence of State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, BACCO President Wahid Sharif and Chief Executive Officer of Uzbek IT Park Farkhod Ibragimov.
Through this agreement, various B-to-B sessions for the development of BPO industry in the two countries, various workshops for building skilled manpower and joint ventures for exporting BPO services will be extended to all facilities and incentives for foreign investment.
In addition to the Uzbek IT Park delegation, members of the BACCO Executive Committee, other leaders of the country’s IT industry were present in the event.
