After a long time, the popular social media Facebook is once again bringing a new feature. Meta, the company is launching a new video player to give the opportunity to watch videos across the smartphone screen.
According to a report by the United States technology-based media The Verge, Facebook’s parent company Meta announced the information in a blog post on Wednesday, April 3.
When this video player is launched, videos on Facebook will be viewed vertically across the smartphone screen like TikTok. As a result, you will get the opportunity to watch videos that are larger than the current size.
According to Meta, the new video player developed for iOS and Android operating systems will allow reels, live and large videos to be automatically viewed across the smartphone screen. The video player will initially be available to residents of the US and Canada. This facility will be available in other countries gradually.
A slider option will also be added below the new video player, said Meta. As a result, the next part of the video can be easily watched by excluding the specific part. Besides pausing the video, the video player will also allow you to replay the scene behind.
