In order to verify the qualifications of national level IT engineers, Bangladesh Digital University-BDU is undertaking Information Technology Engineers Examination (ITEE) Training Program. The Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) is managing the ITEE project under the supervision of the ICT Division of the Government of Bangladesh with the joint cooperation of the Government of Bangladesh and Japan.
Farzana Akhtar, Coordinator of Information Technology Engineers Examination Training Program and Assistant Professor of IoT and Robotics Engineering Department, said that 25 students of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh’s IoT and Robotics Engineering Department and Educational Technology Department will undergo training under this project.
He also said that if the BDU students complete the training and pass the final examination, employment opportunities will be created for them in Japan. Trained students can also prepare themselves for the domestic IT job market.
BDU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam inaugurated this training program on February 19. During this time, he gave various guidance statements to the students to make themselves skilled in the technology-based job market.
In the opening ceremony, IOT and Robotics Engineering Department Chairman Shamsuddin Ahmed, Educational Technology Department Chairman Md. Ashrafuzzaman along with teachers and students of various departments of the university were present.
