বুধবার (১৫ মে) এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানানো হয়, এসবিকে প্রযুক্তিগত স্টার্টআপ শুরুর ক্ষেত্রে ‘অ্যাঞ্জেল ইনভেস্টর’ হিসেবে বিনিয়োগ করে থাকে। তাদের বিনিয়োগ পাওয়া প্রতিষ্ঠানের মধ্যে মার্কোপলো পেয়েছে ১৫ লাখ ডলার, সোলশেয়ার পেয়েছে ১১ লাখ ডলার, ফসল পেয়েছে ১০ লাখ ডলার, যাত্রী পেয়েছে ১৫ লাখ ডলার, আরোগ্য পেয়েছে ১০ লাখ ডলার, টেন মিনিট স্কুল পেয়েছে ১০ লাখ ডলার।
এসবিকে টেক ভেঞ্চারসের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও ম্যানেজিং জেনারেল পার্টনার সোনিয়া বশির কবির বলেন, ‘প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করে দেশীয় উদ্যোক্তাদের ব্যবসা পরিচালনা করার ব্যাপক সুযোগ রয়েছে। এবারে বিনিয়োগ করা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো সাধারণ মানুষদের সমস্যা সমাধান করবে এবং প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করে সমাজে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনবে বলে আমি আশাবাদী।’
