Despite the rarity of Android tablets powered by Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Xiaomi is rumored to be working on a flagship tablet featuring this high-end processor. According to GSMArena, the tablet could debut later this year.
A tipster on social media platform X has claimed, “Xiaomi is developing a new tablet, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is expected to launch by the end of the year.”
While no further details about the device are currently available, the use of such an expensive chipset indicates that the rest of the specifications will also be top-tier. Expectations include a large, high-resolution display, at least 8GB of RAM (possibly up to 12GB or 16GB), and a battery capacity exceeding 10,000mAh.
