Microsoft has announced the testing of a new feature enabling file sharing between iPhones and Windows 11 or Windows 10 PCs. This feature is accessible via Microsoft’s Phone Link and Link to Windows apps and is initially available to Windows Insider users, according to TechCrunch.
Windows Insider participants can activate the feature by downloading the latest update to Phone Link. The feature allows users to transfer files from iPhone to PC and vice versa.
To share files from an iPhone to a PC, users need to select the file, click the share icon, and choose the “Link to Windows” option, followed by selecting the target device. Similarly, to send files from a PC to an iPhone, users can right-click the file and select the “My Phone” option.
The timeline for the feature’s release to all users has not yet been disclosed.
