The competition between Threads and Bluesky continues to intensify as Meta introduces innovative features to attract users. Among the new additions, Threads is working on a feature similar to Bluesky’s custom feed functionality, enabling topic-based feed creation and management, according to Engadget.
The upcoming feature aims to offer users a personalized and customizable feed experience. Users can create feeds tailored to specific interests, such as skincare, and include channels or profiles whose content will populate the feed.
Reports suggest that users will be able to add up to 128 custom feeds, though the feature is still in its testing phase. A Meta spokesperson confirmed that it is not yet available to all users.
Tech experts note that the feature closely mirrors Bluesky’s custom feed option, launched last year, marking Meta’s latest move to compete in the evolving social media landscape.
