Following Trump’s election win, assets of several companies, including Tesla and Truth Social, have surged, with chipmaker NVIDIA seeing the most significant gains. NVIDIA’s market capitalization has now reached an unprecedented $3.6 trillion, Reuters reports.
This achievement not only marks a historic milestone but also positions NVIDIA once again as the world’s most valuable company, surpassing Apple’s $3.44 trillion valuation.
NVIDIA briefly overtook Apple once before in June and again in late October, when its stock price surged, giving it the top spot in market capitalization. However, those gains were short-lived.
The recent success is largely driven by heightened demand for AI technology. Additionally, NVIDIA’s stock saw a 2.2% increase, partly in response to anticipated tax cuts and regulatory relaxations following Trump’s victory.
