Google Play Services, essential for running and updating various Google apps, has reportedly stopped functioning on certain Pixel devices, according to PhoneArena.
Users on social media platforms X and Reddit have reported that Google-developed apps have unexpectedly stopped working, displaying the message, “Your device does not support Google Play Services.”
This issue isn’t limited to older devices; some users with Pixel 9 Pro XL models have also encountered it.
As the core of Android software, Google Play Services enables various functions, such as sign-in, Maps, background services, and app libraries.
The cause of this issue is still unknown, but some users have been able to resolve it by uninstalling recent updates or resetting their devices.
