Baseus has unveiled a new 45W fast charger specifically designed for the iPhone 16 and Pro series, named the GAN6 Pro 1C 45W charger. This charger, powered by PD 3.0 technology, offers rapid charging capabilities, allowing users to charge their devices in less time.
The Baseus GAN6 Pro charger is equipped with Apple’s fourth-generation PI chip, which enhances its charging efficiency by up to 93%. Weighing only 83.6 grams, the charger provides up to 45W charging through a Type-C output.
It supports multiple charging protocols, including PD 3.0, QC 3.0, AFC, FCP, and PPS, making it compatible with various devices beyond the iPhone 16 series.
According to available information, the charger offers three layers of safety protection, ensuring safe charging without the risk of accidents. These safety features include short-circuit protection, overcurrent and overvoltage protection, as well as static and electromagnetic interference protection. Additionally, the charger shell is fireproof, providing an added layer of security.
In terms of design, the charger will be available in several colors, including Stellar Titanium, Starlight Gold, Bright Moon White, and Starry Black. It also features sixth-generation Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, which ensures fast and efficient charging.
To manage temperature during charging, the GAN6 Pro comes equipped with a four-level temperature control system. Baseus claims that the new charger can charge an iPhone 16 Pro Max to 62% in just 35 minutes.
The Baseus GAN6 Pro fast charger is priced at 146 yuan (approximately $20). Early customers, however, can purchase it at a discounted price of 91 yuan (around $13).
