According to news, the government of Pakistan is launching a messaging app called ‘Beep Pakistan’ for its government officials and employees. But it is not as advanced as the popular messaging app WhatsApp.
Pakistan’s Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaja Fatima Khawaja, said in a statement that currently this ‘Beep Pakistan’ has been experimentally launched in the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication. It will soon be introduced in other government offices of the country.
He also said in an interview to Aljazeera, ‘The main goal of this app is to protect the privacy and data of the government.’
