The cryptocurrency is up 16.3 percent so far this year. Among them, the price on Monday, February 12 reached the highest since December 27, 2021. On this day, at 11:56 PM Bangladesh time, the price of Bitcoin increased by 4.96 percent to 49 thousand 899 dollars. On that day, the price of the virtual currency was around 50 thousand dollars.
Antony Trenchev, co-founder of crypto-lending platform Nexo, sees bitcoin’s $50,000 mark as a significant milestone since the launch of spot ETFs last month.
