“Startup Compass” campaign of Rajshahi Division has started from Rajshahi University on Sunday. As part of this, a second campaign was held at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) on Monday, (February 13).
Acting Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) Dr. Md. Sajjad Hossain spoke as the chief guest at the event. The event was presided over by the iDEA Project Deputy Project Director and Deputy Secretary Dr. Mizanur Rahman. The Dean of Electrical and Computer Engineering Faculty of RUET Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Mandal and Professor of CSE Department Dr. Md. Rabiul Islam were present as special guests.
Md. Nazim Uddin, Human Resources Consultant of iDEA Project, was present as the coordinator of Rajshahi Division of the event under the establishment of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Academy (iDEA) project under Bangladesh Computer Council of Information and Communication Technology Division.
On the other hand, the first campaign held in Rajshahi Division was presided over by Project Director and Joint Secretary Md. Altaf Hossain, Rajshahi University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Golam Sabbir Sattar was the chief guest. Professor M Humayun Kabir, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Rabi, was present on the occasion.
Startup Compass campaign is being held in 4 educational institutions of Rajshahi division which will continue till February 15. After organizing the campaign at Rajshahi University on February 12 and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) on February 13, the campaign will be held on February 14 at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAET) and on February 15 at Pabna University of Science and Technology. Sohag Chandra Das, Consultant and Head of Communications of iDEA Project under Bangladesh Computer Council of Information and Communication Technology Division said that by organizing Startup Compass, iDEA project is continuing the campaign in all divisions of Bangladesh.
