With the aim of “Entrepreneurs should be one of the strongest pillars of countries economy”, the “Fifth Entrepreneurship Conference” of the country’s top entrepreneur-based organization “Nijer Bolar Moto Ekti Golpo” was inaugurated at the Mirpur Indoor Stadium on January 14. Mirpur Indoor Stadium was crowded with 5000 successful domestic and Bangladeshi expatriate entrepreneurs.
Mr. Kamal Ahmed Majumdar, Minister of State for Industry of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, said in the opening ceremony of the conference, “
“A Story to Tell Foundation has contributed a lot to build Smart Bangladesh. Thanks to the founder of the stage from which such great work is being conducted. There is no alternative to creating entrepreneurship to take the country to one of the leading positions in the world market. The Ministry of Industry is also playing a role in the creation of industrial factories through providing funds to entrepreneurs and creating industrial opportunities for them under the instructions of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. I would request all the entrepreneurs here to work on the production of agricultural machinery in their own country. Then we can come out of the import dependent system.”
The conference was held throughout the day with various events. Several workshops were held for entrepreneurs like advice sessions for entrepreneurs on how to be an entrepreneur and how to take their venture to the top in the digital world.
The young students will lead the future of the country. So this foundation is giving free training to college and university students to create part time entrepreneurs along with their studies. Therefore the afternoon program of the conference has been completely opened for students. Ayman Sadiq, founder of the country’s e-learning platform 10 Minute School, Amrai Bangladesh Co-Founder Arif R Hossain, Sami Ahmed, President of Startup Bangladesh, Nasima Akhter Nisha, President of Women and E-Commerce Trust, Tajdin Hasan, Chief Business Officer of The Daily Star, Sonia Basir Kabir, President of SBK Tech. , BASIS President Russell T Ahmed, ISPAB President Emdadul Haque, Daffodil International University Chairman Dr. Sabur Khan, ECAB President Shomi Kaiser, BCS President Subrata Sarkar, BACCO General Secretary Towhid Hossain and others., joined the conference in the afternoon. In this event, Sessions speakers discuss business growth for the entrepreneurs and how aspiring entrepreneurs can prepare themselves from right now.
This year’s entrepreneurship conference ended by giving awards to successful entrepreneurs. In this year’s event, about 22 entrepreneurs were honored as the best story-creating entrepreneur and 1 person was given the best entrepreneur award for outstanding contribution in the field of entrepreneurship.
Rabiul Hasan, who received the best entrepreneur award, said, “My Company Fabricon Fashion started from a 90-day entrepreneurship workshop of Nijer Bolar Moto Ekti Golpo foundation. How a person dreams of becoming an entrepreneur from a student status, what business will I do well, how to take an organization from zero to the top, everything is the contribution of this foundation.”
After the event, Mr. Iqbal Bahar, founder of “Nijer Bolar Moto Ekti Golpo” said, “There will be special mentoring throughout the year for entrepreneurs on our platform to take their ventures to the next level in 2023. Everyone here is not just an entrepreneur, they are first and foremost good people, which is constantly practiced here. Along with 3000 responsible volunteers of the organization, I have created lakhs of entrepreneurs in the last 5 years, who have created about 4 lakh jobs in the country and abroad. This is my voluntary work for Bangladesh.”
Entrepreneur-based platform “Nijer Bolar Moto Ekti Golpo” has been working on creating entrepreneurs for almost 5 and a half years. 64 districts, 492 upazilas, and Bangladeshi expatriates from 50 countries have been given entrepreneurship training for free for 90 days through 20 batches from this platform. There are also online/offline activities going on every week with around 4400 meetups across the country and abroad. This non-profit organization is not only creating entrepreneurs but also playing various roles in the business development of those entrepreneurs.
