Bangladesh Association of Contact Center & Outsourcing is the solitary and central trade body for the BPO service provider organizations in Bangladesh which has been working relentlessly since its inception to shape up a right, conducive and sustainable ecosystem for the industry, while developing excellent rapport with the outer BPO world through collaboration, connectivity and alliance.
ICTWEEK Uzbekistan, 2022 is currently eventuating at the Congress Tower, Samarkand, Uzbekistan starting from 24-27 October. A total of ten member organizations from BACCO have participated in this gala event.
The event has been segmented into various engrossing sections. On 25th October, in the “BPO Summit” segment of ICTWEEK Uzbekistan, 2022; Mr. Wahid Sharif, honorable President of Bangladesh Association of Contact Center & Outsourcing and Managing Director of Digicon Technologies Limited; proudly presented the current scenario of the ICT and BPO industries of Bangladesh before an erudite audience from all around the world. He illustrated the success stories, sagas of development and highlighted on the inevitable support and patronization from Bangladesh Government in the flourishment of this sector holistically.
On that very day, a panel discussion on “Key Drivers for Successful Global BPO Business” took place where Mr. Towhid Hossain, the honorable Secretary General of Bangladesh Association of Contact Center & Outsourcing and CEO & Managing Director to FIFOTech, spoke on “Training & Employment of BPO Specialists”. He shed light on the current condition of training and skills development in the BPO industry and depicted the schemes undertaken by the Government of Bangladesh for eradicating the existing skills gap in the industry.

In this glorious event, more than 300 delegates from 20 countries around the world participated. A pavilion has been procured by BACCO on the premises, where the participating organizations are showcasing their products, services and proudly flaunting their success stories, previous achievements to the visitors coming from various countries around the globe. An audio-visual illustrating the overall BPO industry of Bangladesh and BACCO is also being displayed at the stall. Visitors are also being illuminated on the prospects and potentials of Bangladesh as a fastest growing offshore BPO destination through booklets and brochures. Many of the global investors have already showed interest in the BPO market of Bangladesh on the event.
The story of alliance between BACCO & Uzbekistan sprouted from the stage of World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2021 in Bangladesh where a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between BACCO and IT Park, Uzbekistan.

The week of information and communication technologies of Uzbekistan—ICTWEEK UZBEKISTAN—is the largest and most important annual event in the field of information technologies of Uzbekistan held since 2004.
