Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar commented that digitization has increasingly widespread in the lives of the people of the country during the Corona pandemic while speaking at a virtual discussion titled ‘Technology Driven in Education and VSO School App: Scope and Future’ organized by Voluntary Service Association Bangladesh and in collaboration with Prothom Alo.
Nothing is left pending as almost all the government services are now connected with digital platforms. Holding meetings and other official activities have been geared up, he added.
The minister further said that the educational institutions are closed due to the Corona pandemic. The new generation is sitting idle at home. It was not possible to distribute all the benefits of government in the digitization of education equally, as well as to motivate teachers and parents in this regard.
VSO Lead Technical Advisor Purna Shrestha, founder of Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN) Munir Hasan, Professor of Physics at Princeton University in the United States Dr. Zahid Hasan including other stakeholders were also present in the occasion.
